Founder Update: The Ups and Downs Are Insane

One minute I’m calling a manufacturer because our packaging is perilously late and the next minute I’m celebrating some good news that just arrived.

Then a little later, I get a text from JP Crawford, the shortstop for the Seattle Mariners, saying he and his wife love Red Belly Honey and our Rbel Bee Gummies.
Mix in day-to-day life—celebrations and setbacks of friends, family, my pups, self-care—and it’s downright crazy. Here’s what’s going on in June alone:

JUNE 1: Lululemon

Red Belly Honey is helping to kick off summer with Lululemon Summer Workout Series—a pop-up event, at Revival Food Hall happening every week throughout summer with tie-ins into fall. To say I’m excited is an understatement. Keep a lookout for details!

JUNE 12: BevNet NOSH Live Event

Attending BevNet’s NOSH Live event in New York City where I’ll take center stage in its Pitch Slam competition. THIS has my nerves in a bundle—but I’m going for it and can’t wait. We’ll be working hard to prepare and slamming plenty of gummies. 😳

JUNE 14: Jake & Marty

Back home long enough to unpack, repack and hug Jake and Marty before heading to the food event of the year in Aspen.

JUNE 15–19: Aspen Food & Wine

Alongside chefs Derek Simcik and Ryan Rau serving Red Belly Honey infused bites at the Food & Wine Classic to over 5,000 attendees.

JUNE 20: ASweatLife, Chicago

Launching a partnership with Chicago’s ASweatLife as a part of its 10th anniversary. It’s a week of health and wellness events, before, during and after workout sessions in locations all over Chicago, some indoor and some outdoor—talk about fun!
All the while, I’ll be working on more partnerships and running the day-to-day. But no matter what’s going on, I’m also taking time out for my health—doctor checks, chiropractic care, workouts and a little fun.
